Daniel Polencheck Obituary
Daniel J. Polencheck, Jr., 65, of Chippewa Falls, died at home on Monday, August 26.
On February 18, 1959, Dan was born to Daniel Sr., and Marlene (Kempf) Polencheck, in Ashland, WI. He graduated from Mellen High School with the class of 1977. Dan served his country with the US Air Force until his honorable discharge.
He was a forklift operator for Amoco, Pactiv and Spectrum until his retirement. Dan was united in marriage to Michelle Kempe in March of 1997, in Las Vegas, NV.
He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, watching many games with family and friends. Dan was a kind and caring man that will be missed by all who knew him, including his dog he loved so much, Lucy.
Dan is survived by his wife of 27 years, Michelle; father, Daniel Sr.; son, Troy Polencheck; stepchildren, Kari (Kevin) Naser, Sam (Tamara) Nelson, and Eric Nelson; siblings, Steve Polencheck, Terrie (Ron) Brendalen, Mark (Pam) Polencheck, and Tim Polencheck; grandchildren, Kayla, Keegan, Tessa, Xavier, Elexia, Aynzlie and Jezlyn; great-grandchildren, Espen and Raine; nieces and nephews, Shane (Samantha), Bo (Tara), Nicole and Jessica; great-nieces and nephews, Mya, Knox, Trinity, Haily and Christopher; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene; son, Kyle Polencheck; brother, Corey Polencheck; and great-nephews, Blaire and Easton.
The first celebration of life will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 at Shady Pine, 12938 100th Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
The second celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 at Dusty's Saloon, 351 Lake Dr, Mellen, WI 54546.
