Daniel Porter Obituary
Daniel "Danny" loved to buy and cook good food while being surrounded by his loved ones. He was happiest when everyone was gathered together eating and laughing. He believed in freedom and felt the most free on the open road whether driving his truck or off roading.
He is survived by his partner of 15 years, Linda Newman; his children, Kathleen Porter and her fiancé Noah Santoro, Danielle Porter and her boyfriend Dylan Marshall, and Derrick Porter and his girlfriend Amanda Birkenstock; his stepchildren, Jennifer Rhynehart and her husband Shawn and Michael Newman and his fiancée Nicole Boyles; and his grandchildren, Grace and Riley Rhynehart.
Calling hours will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Saturday, December 21st from 2-5 pm with a funeral service beginning at 5pm. Daniel will be inurned at the Heritage Chapel Mausoleum at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley.

Danny was a very warm hearted good person.Our family shared wonderful memories with him.He drove trucks and was part of our family .He loved trucks and loved to drive. Heartfelt news of his passing. Love to all in family and friends.Blessings to his kids and wife.
