Daniel L. Quakenbush, 70 of Ossian, passed away at 1:08 pm Thursday June 23, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. He was born August 20, 1951 at Frankfort, IN to the late Steven Leroy and Rosemary Miller Quakenbush. His marriage was in 1969 at Ava, MO to Brenda K. Collins, she survives. Daniel was a self-employed carpenter, who was a multitalented man who enjoyed tinkering with anything that might need fixed. He loved fishing and travel.
Surviving with his beloved Brenda are sons Gerald (Li) Quakenbush of Stokes, NC, and Gregory (Tasha) Quakenbush of Jonesboro,IN and daughter Glenna (Joseph) Koenig of Ft. Wayne, brothers Kenneth (Sue) Quakenbush of Sandborn, IN, and Mark Quakenbush of Yorktown, IN, twelve grandchildren and one great-grand on the way. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be in Serenity Chapel at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion at 1pm on Tuesday June 28th,2022 with Rev. John Myers officiating. Friends may call at the chapel from 11am until the time of services. Entombment will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Society of Indian Missions P.O. Box 1348 Mission, SD 57555. Tippecanoe Funeral & Cremation Services of West Lafayette is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
