Daniel Carroll Raddatz of Conklin, Michigan, age 70, passed away Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, at Butterworth Hospital surrounded by family. He was born to Carroll F. and Evelyn (Brooks) Raddatz on December 8th, 1952, in Grand Rapids, MI.
Dan enjoyed farming, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Raddatz; children, Jessica (Brandon) Steinebach; Courtney (Brian) Raddatz, Steven Hunt, Arlen Hunt, Toni Hunt, Joey Mecum, Alexander Raddatz; and grandchildren, Savannah, Samuel, Isaac, Daniel, and J.D.
Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Raddatz; and both parents, Carroll and Evelyn.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mary Free Bed and Spectrum Butterworth Hospital for their care and compassion towards Dan.
There will be a time of public visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1379 Harding St, Conklin, MI 49403. The funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022, immediately following a one-hour visitation prior.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
