Daniel Reilly Obituary
Daniel Charles Reilly, 78, died on September 13, 2025, at Notre Dame Health and Rehab Center, in Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, the son of the late Thomas and Winifred (Morton) Reilly, he was also predeceased by two brothers, John and Brian. Daniel served with the National Guard, Norwalk Police Department, and was the proprietor of All The Kings Horses, a tack shop in Ridgefield. He was also an accomplished artist.
He is survived by four brothers, Thomas, Paul, Gene and Richard; and three sisters, Ann Driscoll, Claire Boyle and Carol Reilly; as well as many nieces and nephews and family relatives.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept 16, from 5-7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10 AM, at St. Philip Church, One Father Conlon Place, Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rising Starr Horse Rescue, 93 Silver Spring Road, Wilton, CT 06897. Dan helped us find a horse for our daughter just before we moved to NH 47 years ago. He was so nice, so helpful, and the horse was beautiful! He volunteered to deliver it to NH (200 miles round trip). I was saddened to hear he had passed. A really kind, nice man! RIP Danny.

Danny Reilly will be remembered for his service to the community, his country while serving in the National guard, and for his love for family and horses. The Williams family will miss him greatly. We treasure the friendship of all the Reilly family. We are all saddened by the news.
