If you ever left Dan Riley's house hungry, you probably snuck out a window. A master of cooking for an army (even when feeding just a few), Dan was the kind of man who showed love not through grand speeches, but through heaping plates of food, acts of quiet service, and a lifetime of showing up for the people he loved most.
Daniel Lee Riley stepped into eternity on June 3, 2025, with his ever-faithful companion Max by his side-just one of the many animals lucky enough to be loved by him in this life. Dan was a man of endless compassion, a proud father, a doting grandfather, and a reliable jokester whose humor could lift any room and ease just about any heart.
Dan's greatest joy came from his family, and he loved them with every fiber of his being. He was the proud dad of three children-Eric Riley, Ashley Gregory, and Manda Riley-and a loving "Papa" to Robert Lewis, Aiden Riley, Addison Riley, and Cameron Ipock. Though he won't get to meet his eagerly awaited granddaughter, Elise Ipock, we can already imagine him charming the heavenly crowd with his proud Grandpa stories.
Dan lived with a true servant's heart-always the first to lend a hand, deliver a meal, or quietly take care of the details no one else noticed. Whether you were family, friend, or neighbor, if you needed something, Dan was already on his way with a smile and a helping hand.
He's now joyfully reunited with his beloved mother, Shirley Ann Riley, whom he loved immensely and missed every day. Knowing they are together again brings comfort to all who loved him. We imagine Dan basking in eternal sunshine, near the ocean he loved so much, likely dancing to classic rock, pulling a funny face or two, and sharing laughter with Shirley as if no time has passed at all.
His family will never forget the Florida road trips, family jam sessions, porch chats, and the countless everyday moments he turned into memories. His love was unwavering, his generosity impacted everyone he met, and his absence leaves a space no one else could fill.
Dan Riley will be missed beyond measure-but we celebrate his joyful reunion with God and family - carrying his love forward with full hearts (and maybe a few extra helpings at dinner).
Rest easy, Dad. We'll keep the music loud, the portions generous, and the chairs pulled up for anyone who needs a place-just like you always did. We love you until the end of time.
"Serve one another humbly in love." - Galatians 5:13

Dan the Man. Although I haven't seen him in a long time, I've never forgotten the coworkers that I considered a friend & he was a friend to everyone. He was a great guy & great to work with. He was always ready with a smile, a joke to lift your spirits or some tidbit of wisdom. He will be missed. My condolences to the family, I'm so sorry for your loss.
