Daniel "Dan'l" Robinson

Daniel "Dan'l" Robinson, 79, of Elizabethtown passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 while at Bladen County Hospital. 

He is survived by wife, Marilyn Robinson of the home, son, Jeffrey Robinson (Kimberly) of Roseboro; three grandchildren, Taylor Spell (Lindsey) of Salemburg; Christian Barker (Evan) of Porter's Neck and Cameron Tyler of Raleigh; three great grandchildren, Blake and Benson Barker of Porter's Neck;  Bailey Davis of Salemburg and one expectant great grandson, Maverick, due in March 2026, two sisters, Beulah Johnson and Ida Suggs of Elizabethtown and two special sisters-in-law, Doris Smith of Graham and Nancy Howell (Pete) of Stedman.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, David and Isabel Robinson, three brothers, Johnie, David and Colin Robinson and four sisters, Nellie and Betty Tatum, Sarah Johnston and Irene Alford. 

He retired from the NC Department of Transportation with over 33 years of service. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 10-11 am at the Mintz Baptist Church, 3761 Old Mintz Hwy in Roseboro, NC. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Dr. Robert Hunter officiating. Services will conclude in the church cemetery.
