Daniel W. Rose

Daniel Willis Rose, 92, of Enfield, loving husband of the late Beverly Jane (Stearns) Rose for over 68 years, passed away on May 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Windsor to the late Daniel and Serene Rose. Daniel attended Windsor schools and graduated from Monson Academy in May of 1951. He joined the Naval Reserve in April of 1950 and was called to active duty in March of 1952, attended diesel school in San Diego, CA and upon completion served aboard ship with the 6th fleet. After he was discharged he worked for Hartford Electric Light and later went to work for Southern New England Telephone, Bell South, and completed his career with AT & T information systems as a data tech in Denver, CO with 34 years of service, retiring to Florida. He is survived by three children, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Darryl who was a Denver policeman at the time of his death. A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery, East St., Windsor.
