Daniel Joseph Salinas, born on January 23, 1971, in San Francisco, California, passed away on November 25, 2024, in Moxee, Washington, at the age of 53.
Daniel was a man who filled every room with laughter and love. He was the heart of his family, always bringing everyone together for unforgettable 4th of July parties, Thanksgiving celebrations, or even just a casual family dinner. His home was a haven for family and friends alike, a place of joy and togetherness.
Daniel's love for life was evident in everything he did. He was a passionate 49ers fan who never missed a game and had a notorious disdain for wearing pants-a trait his family fondly remembers. Summers were spent boating, camping, and cheering on the kids at their sports events. A true movie enthusiast, Daniel could often be found in his favorite chair, engrossed in a new film, always eager to share his love for cinema with those around him.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Mela, his daughters Alyssa, Priscilla, and Victoria, his son Buddy, and his cherished grandchildren: Kendrick, Lucinda, Natalia, Nadia, Angel, Nixon, Angelina and Jayden. He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Elizabeth, Step Mother Cheryl, Step Father Ray, his brother Jeremy, sister Monique, nephews Jermayn and Max, Marcus and Micquel, and niece Alicia. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Salinas, his Uncle PeeWee and many other loved ones who now guide him home to Heavenly Father.
A Service to honor Daniel's life will be held on December 20th at 1:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home in Moxee, followed by a Celebration of Life at Yakima Square & Dance Center (207 E Charron Rd, Moxee), from 2:00PM-6:00PM
Daniel's spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew him, and his legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness will forever be treasured.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of my cousin Daniel. I hope his beautiful spirit had a peaceful transition into the next stage of existence. I'm sure, wherever he is, he's with his dad Joe, and his uncles Peewee, Lionel, Andre, and Jose having a beautiful time in a beautiful place. Rest in peace my brother.

My first memory of Daniel was working with him at Alexandria molding he was a hard worker and a good friend to have always positive about life and work the memory we both shared was emotional we witnessed a bad wreck on highway 24 that really made us both thankful we where seconds away from a tractor trailer rolling on us both that day. I thanked Daniel for his good driving skills as he drove us and swerving out of the way of the wrecking truck. Who's driver was rejected from the window and died on the seen. He saved my life that day ! Daniel I will never forget you my friend God bless you thank you your kind heart
