Publish in a newspaper

Daniel J. Schweda, born on November 10, 1952, passed away on November 4, 2025 from a short battle with cancer. Dan was the loving son of Rose and the late John Schweda, a cherished brother to Cynthia Hosmer and the late Thomas Schweda. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. From his early years at Berea High School, Dan enjoyed being on the golf course as a proud member of the Berea Golf team or passionately drumming with the Forces of Evil Band, where his rhythm and spirit truly shined. As a young man, Dan was a dedicated altar server at St. Mary Church in Berea, delivered the Cleveland Press newspaper, and diligently mowed lawns in his neighborhood. He also cheered on all Cleveland Sports teams and was an enthusiastic club member of various automobile models. Dan worked and retired from Penton Press Publishing Co after years as a dedicated tool and die machinist. Dan's funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20 at St. Mary's Catholic Church (in the Chapel), located at 250 Kraft St., Berea, OH. Prior to Mass, the family welcomes loved ones and friends to meet in St. Mary's Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass begins at 11:00 am.
