Daniel Simon

Daniel Jay Simon, age 45 of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on June 25, 2025. Dan was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Bonnie and Maurice Simon, and was a graduate of Abington Friends School and the State University of New York at Purchase.

Dan was one of a kind - he moved to Texas and then New Mexico years ago and enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle. He was a talented musician, and a loyal Philly sports fan. His life experiences were varied and vibrant, and he made friends easily and at every turn. Above all else, he was a devoted father to his sons Miles and Jack. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his children Miles and Jack, his parents Bonnie and Maury Simon, his sister Allison (Michael) Meltz, niece Riley Meltz, nephew Sam Meltz, and his former wife Anne Davidson-Martinez.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial service on Tuesday, July 8, at 1:30PM at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North at 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Shiva will be observed following services until 6:00 PM, and will resume at 7:00 PM, at the home of Bonnie and Maury Simon at 402 Pepper Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006,
