He is preceded in death by, Parents; George (Mary) Slayton, Sister; Ruth Sisson and Brother Charles "Bill" Peery, Aunts; Jenny Slayton and Pauline Slayton.
Calvin is survived by, Children; John (Jocelynn) Slayton, Ashley (Jon) Miller, Scott Slayton, Cody Slayton, Larry Slayton, Daniel Slayton and Kevin Slayton, Sisters; Kathy Powell, Jim (Barb) Peery, Patsy (David) Brumfield, Dottie (Ray) Yonker, Vickie (Robert) Cooper and Joyce Rainey, Brother-in-law; Linford (Jenny) Sisson and Special Aunt; Sarah Slayton. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove, WV. Deal Funeral Home is serving he family.
