Daniel Slonim Obituary
Beloved husband of 57 years to Laura J. Slonim, Daniel was a devoted family man whose legacy lives on through those he cherished most. He was the loving father of Shelley Commodari (Marshall) and Rebbecca Lindsay (Jesse), and the proud and cherished PopPop of Matthew Commodari, Michaela Caldwell (Josh), Danielle Commodari (Micheal), Jacob Commodari, Gabriel Lindsay, Benjamin Lindsay, and Ryan Lindsay.
Daniel is also survived by his dear brother Robert Slonim (Sheryl), and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Thomas J. Slonim, and his brother Anthony Slonim.
Daniel will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his quiet strength, and his steadfast faith. His warmth, kindness, and guidance will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome to visit at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26) on Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Isaac Jogues Church on Friday, June 13 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at New Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Daniel's memory to Gilchrist Hospice.
