Daniel Wayne Stueve, known to friends and family as Dan, was a humble, loving, dedicated, and hard-working man who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Born on October 22, 1962 in Topeka, KS, Dan was a man of many talents, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

Dan grew up in Tumwater, Washington but spent many summers in Basin City, Washington helping with the family farm where he enjoyed harvesting various crops, running farm equipment, and spending time with his cousins. He attended Tumwater High School where he met his high school sweetheart Kelly. They got married in 1987 and after moving several places around Olympia, Washington they ultimately settled down in Tenino, Washington where they lived for 30 years and raised their two daughters, Melissa and Danielle. After being in Tenino for 30 years they bought their dream piece of retirement property in Chehalis, Washington where they have resided for the last 3 years.

A skilled auto body technician and mechanic by trade, he worked in Centralia, Washington at Kelly's body shop for 17 years, Campbells Chrysler Jeep Dodge for 8 years, and I5 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for 9 years. His dedication was evident in his meticulous work and the countless vehicles he breathed new life into. Outside of his work, Dan was a passionate outdoorsman who relished in hunting, camping, fishing, and his newest hobby had been wood working in his spare time. These activities brought him closer to nature, and he delighted in sharing these experiences with his loved ones.

Dan is survived by his wife, Kelly Stueve, his two daughters, Melissa (Brandon) Chapin and Danielle (Ben) Ternan, his mother Linda Stueve, his brothers Michael (Lori) Stueve and Greg (Leah, deceased) Stueve, his granddaughters Olivia, Harper, and Railee Ternan, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and great nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, John Ronald Stueve, his father-in-law, Roy Gripp, and his nephew, Tyler Stueve. Dan's life will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Newaukum Grange on Brown Road East in Chehalis, Washington.

As we remember Dan, let us celebrate his life and the joy he brought to each of us. We encourage all who knew Dan to share their memories and upload photos of him to the memorial page. His legacy of love, dedication, and humor will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
