Daniel Z. Tabor

I was a Navy guy who joined the Guard in `80. As 1st Sgt, he showed me how to blouse my boots and wear the US Army uniform which wasn´t his duty but we hit it off quickly. Under his wing he guided me with his never-condescending always spot-on Army knowledge and his memory will always be with me. RIP,

I worked for Daniel Tabor when he was an E8 in the EOC. He was the best boss ever, very kind and soft spoken. He will be missed. I send my condolences to the family.

When I joined in 1983 he was my first 1SG he cared about his Soldiers. He lead by example, I measured all of my first sergeants to him. Rest in peace

RIP good buddy. Been with you since you joined in 1966 and with you in the Association you started. Will miss you.

So Sorry to hear this sad news - Danny was a friend of many years to us
and even though we did not get together often we will always have fond memories of the weekends spent with Sharon and Danny - they were so hospitable and Danny and Joe would share memories of when they both m me worked together in the NJ National Guard. Sharon, how are you coping ?
You will miss him always but Nancy and your many friends will be a great comfort to you. We are both OK and we now have 3 Great Grandchildren
so are kept on our toes !
We will think of you on Jan 23rd - you know that if we weren´t so far away
we would be there for you and Joey.
