Daniel Turner Obituary

Daniel J. Turner of Huguenot died on August 31, 2024 at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He was 60.
The son of the late Daniel R. Turner and Mary Constable, he was born on February 7, 1964 in West Nyack, NY.
Dan's younger years started out in Florida, NY where he forged friendships that would last a lifetime. He was a local self employed carpenter. An avid hunter and fisherman, Dan never missed the first day of hunting or trout fishing season. Throughout his life he always recalled his two late stepfathers who helped inspire his love of the sport. He was a longtime member of the Otisville Sportsman Club and he vauled his friendship with the other members. A die hard Pittsburg Stealers Fan, Dan's love for watching the game was more made more enjoyable cheering it on with his Aunt Cilla and Uncle Mark.
In addition to his parents Dan was predeceased in life by his sister Karen Ann Scott and stepfathers Andy Clayson and Jack Constable.
Beloved companion of Karen Ghignon at home. Dear brother of Kevin Turner of Idaho and John Clayson of Ohio. We would be remiss to not mention his cherished Molly and Harley furry family he leaves behind at home as well. An uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who will be missed.
Services are private at this time. Cremation to take place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.

Roy and I were so sad to hear the passing of Dan! He was a kind man and we have a lot of fond memories with him! His years at Russo of Rockland were like family to us, and he will be deeply missed.
