Daniel, a proud entrepreneur, successfully owned his own business as a Manufacturing Representative, where he established a strong reputation for integrity and excellence. His professional achievements were equally matched by the love he held for his family. Daniel is survived by his beloved partner and spouse of 27 years, Jill (Gehrhardt) Ulrich, who was by his side through life's many adventures; children, Gregory (Kim) Ulrich and Sheri (Scott) Barton, both sources of immense pride for Daniel. He found great joy in being a grandfather to Ellie and Braeden Ulrich, his twin grandchildren, who brought him extraordinary happiness. He is lovingly remembered by the mother of his children, Donna (Bill) Ulrich Woods, his sister Elaine Ulrich, and his sister-in-law, Billie Ulrich. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. and Luedna R. (Pleiman) Ulrich and his brother, Larry Ulrich.
Beyond his familial bonds, Daniel had a profound love for animals, particularly hippos and basset hounds, which added a unique charm to his character. He also embraced artistic pursuits, enjoying sailing, playing the blues harmonica, and mastering the accordion. His penchant for music extended to his collection of guitars, which he cherished as instruments of joy and expression.
Daniel shared memorable experiences with his family, including their cherished tradition of attending the Minster Oktoberfest, where his vibrant spirit shone brightly among friends and loved ones. His warmth and humor will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
