Sarah Joyce Mason, born on September 22, 1978, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on December 7, 2025. A talented photographer, Sarah spent her life capturing the world through her lens, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful images that reflected her artistic vision.

She graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1996, where her passion for the arts blossomed. In her youth, Sarah was involved in swimming and diving, as well as cheerleading, activities that showcased her spirited nature and enthusiasm for life. As a mother, she devoted her time to coaching various sports, instilling the values of teamwork and determination in her children.

Sarah’s love for creativity extended beyond photography. She had a distinctive flair for hair and makeup, often sharing her skills with friends and family, ensuring that those around her looked and felt their best. Her artistic abilities were further expressed through body art, as she not only adorned her own skin but also designed tattoos for others.

A cherished member of her family, Sarah leaves behind her two sons, Seth R. Purvis and Shay CM Mason. She is also survived by her parents, Barry and Karen Purvis, and her siblings: three sisters, Stephanie E. Hancock, Michelle (Dusty) Terrill, Stacy Marie (Thomas) Riste, and a brother, Scott R. (Jennifer) Purvis. Sarah was surrounded by numerous family and friends who will continue to hold her memory close to their hearts.

Sarah Joyce Mason's vibrant spirit and artistic legacy will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
