Daniel P. VanAntwerp passed away on September 16, 2025. He was 78. Daniel is survived of his beloved wife, Deborah VanAntwerp (nee Chaney).
Born to Daniel and Anna VanAntwerp in Middletown, NY, Daniel graduated from Central Connecticut University in New Britain, CT. Daniel went on to excel in the shoe industry with time at The Bass Company, 9West, Brown Shoe Company, Aerosoles, French Sole and others. All prior to his semi-retirement years of owning and operating Daniel's Shoes & Accessories in the Bucks County area.
Dan was known throughout the shoe industry and he prided himself on the network and friends he made during those years. The shoe family eventually became an extended family, and those connections remain for his family. Daniel loved spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren, fishing, his many pets over the years, vacations, summer weather, Porsches and watching F1 races. Daniel had the opportunity to travel the world with work as far and wide as China, the Brazilian jungle, Portugal, Italy to just name a few.
Along with his wife, Deborah, Daniel is survived by his children: Darin VanAntwerp (Juliet VanAntwerp), Devon Jones (Timothy Jones) and Fiona VanAntwerp, Brexton VanAntwerp, Sydney Jones and his sister Gail VanAntwerp. He will be missed by all who love him.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Graveside Service on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 10:00am. Guests are invited to arrive to Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd,
Richboro, PA 18954 (at Holland Road) at 9:15am to line up in procession to leave by 9:30am to the cemetery. In honor of Dan, please wear your favorite pair of shoes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's memory to Vietnam Veteran's of America organization.
