Daniel Aleksiev Vasilev, just 30 of Marietta passed away in his home unexpectedly on November 2nd , 2024. Daniel was born June 1st, 1994, to Rositsa and Aleksey Vasilev’s in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. In 2005, the family moved to the USA and found their lovely home in Marietta, Georgia.
Daniel was always a great student and liked different kinds of sports. In 3rd grade, he took up taekwondo, He liked soccer and played in Middle and High school. He also loved basketball, snowboarding, and swimming. Daniel attended Sedalia Park Elementary School, Mcleskey Middle School and graduated from Carlton Kell High School. He studied for 2 years at University of North Georgia. Daniel was a fun, loving, and generous son, friend, cousin, nephew, and co-worker. He genuinely looked for the good in everyone. He helped Mom with her business for few years. He worked also with his father for Carros Metal Concept before fully to focus joining the Navy. That was his big dream. He worked a lot on it – bodybuilding, running, swimming and eating healthy foods. Daniel will be deeply missed by his parents, friends, and all the people that knew him.
