It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel F. Walker, a cherished father, friend, and devoted member of our community. Daniel was born on May 25, 1971, in Washington, DC, and spent many joyful years in Baltimore and Ocean City, MD, where he cultivated lasting relationships and shared laughter with those around him. He departed from this world on March 16, 2026, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him.

Daniel was a dedicated chef and bartender, known for his warm smile, kindness, and love of laughter and music. His ability to create an inviting atmosphere made the places he worked feel like home, and his love for people was evident in every interaction. As a father, Daniel took immense pride in his two children, Briana Walker and Marcus Walker, who were the lights of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, fostering happiness and encouragement in their pursuits.

Daniel's greatest virtue was his generosity and dedication to service. He was always willing to help others in whatever way he was needed. Whatever Daniel did, he did it to the best of his ability and with pride every time. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off of his back to help his fellow man. Daniel will be remembered fondly for his compassionate spirit, his ability to connect with others, and his unwavering support for his family and friends. He brought joy into the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Daniel is preceded in Death by his sisters Hope Walker and Faith Walker, and his chosen brother Brian Conner. He is Survived by his Daughter Briana Walker, Son Marcus Walker, Grandsons Tristan and Oliver, mother Sheila Walker, sisters Shawndella and Charity Walker , brothers, Jonathan, William and Jacob Walker, and chosen brothers Nate Burgess and Windsor Corbin.

Daniel's family will hold a memorial service to celebrate his life and legacy. Details will be announced soon; the ceremony will take place at a location that honors Daniel's love for his community. In this time of grief, we ask that you keep Daniel's family in your thoughts as they navigate this profound loss.
