Daniel George Watts, 61, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

He was born March 5, 1964, in Manheim (Lancaster County) to Nina Josephine Hanna Kilgore of Philadelphia and the late Harry Watts, and graduated from Shannock Valley High School in Rural Valley.

Mr. Watts then spent 21 years in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of First Sergeant. He was recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (twice), Combat Action Medal (Iraq), Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (seven times), Army Achievement Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four times), Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

He spent the last 15 years as a crane operator at Allegheny Teledyne in Brackenridge.

Dan enjoyed golfing, was a Steelers fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the VFW in Lower Burrell,

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Amy Lynn Perry Watts; son, Brock Perry Watts; and siblings, Linda Zemanik, Shelley, Brian and David Watts.

Private services were entrusted to ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., of New Kensington.
