Daniel Wells Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 14, 2025.
Born March 11, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, to Bobby and Katherine (Lindsey) Wells, Daniel Lyle Wells passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 67.

Daniel lived a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. He leaves behind his wife and lifelong companion, Marsha (Evely) Wells - his neighbor, best friend, and soulmate for 47 beautiful years. Together they built a home filled with love, warmth, and memories that will last forever.

He was a proud and devoted father to Benjamin (Cristina) Wells and Marcia (Kevin) Rudolfi, and a loving step-grandfather to Vinicius and Vanessa. He also leaves behind his sisters, Denise (Rob) Ryan and Kathy (Al) Sowers; his brothers-in-law, Robert (Jill) Evely and Dale (Susan) Evely; and many nieces and nephews who adored their "Uncle Dan."

Daniel was a registered nurse who cared deeply for others, both in his work and in his everyday life. He had a kind heart and a gentle spirit that drew people - and animals - to him. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was bicycling, fishing, hunting, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. His love for animals was endless, and he always seemed to have a special connection with them.

He was a deeply spiritual person who found peace in the world around him and strength in his faith. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his compassion, his enduring strength, and his quiet wisdom.

Daniel touched so many lives with his kindness and generosity, and his memory will live on in all who loved him.
