Daniel Philip Wendl, age 70, died on June 6, 2025, in Waukesha, WI. He passed away peacefully while surrounded by the love of family and friends after a nine-month battle with cancer. He was born February 8, 1955, and was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Wendl and Helen (Theis) Peltier, and his sisters, Shirley Bricco and Sharon Haggerty.
Danny is mourned by his wife, Bobsie (Petts) Wendl; his children, Lisa (Wendl) Webster and Brian Wendl; his two grandchildren; his brother, Joseph Wendl; and many nieces, nephews, other family, and dear friends. He lived a life of gentle, joyful love for God and the people around him, and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of his life will be held on July 25, 2025, at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30pm, and the memorial service will be from 1:30-2:30pm. Dessert reception to follow.
