Daniel Williams Obituary
Daniel was born in Rupert, ID to Floyd Wendell and Anna Clara Williams on August 13, 1959. He met his wife, Nancy in college in Newberg, OR and they married on August 16, 1980, in Dallas, OR. He attended Oregon State University where he received a bachelor's degree. Later at University of Alaska Anchorage he received his Master's.
He became a resident of Anchorage in 1987 where he worked as a civil engineer for Commissioned Corps of the US Public Health Service until 2017. Then he moved on to be a civil engineer for NISC & FAA. Daniel loved hiking, climbing, camping, fishing, working on cars and his grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at Fort Richardson National Cemetery on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:30AM. A Celebration of Daniels Life will be held at the Eagle River Grace Church @ 1pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, with Pastor Brad Blackstone as the officiant.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of Anchorage; sons Jason and Lucas (Rebecca), Micah and Zachary (Miyah); daughter Clarissa (Honza); and his grandchildren Claire, Jack, Hope and Alex.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dwaine.
