Daniel Welborn "Doc" Wilson Sr.

I will always be indebted to Doc for teaching me how to do so many things . When I was a kid in high school and later in Gardner-Webb Jr College Doc allowed me to learn about cars in his Garage at 27 West Lee Road Taylors SC
It became Doc Wilson Speed Shop
Over time and was the home of many local Drag racers.
I got to work on vacation time from school and summer time as well as later after graduation from Georgia.
I was taught building engines carburetors and many other automotive techniques!
I regret never ever going back to express my gratitude for his kindness and generosity.
It was just a few weeks ago I learned of his passing.
When I get to Heaven I am sure to share this sad realization .
