Daniel Wilson Obituary
Doc was a member of Praise Cathedral Church in Greer and former owner of Doc Wilson's Cars in Lyman. He was known far and wide for his automotive racing and Jeep knowledge.
He is survived by his children, Daniel Wilson Jr. and Matthew Wilson; his grandchildren, Logan Wilson, Sophia Wilson and Vera Wilson; and his siblings, James Wilson (Pat) and Evangeline Farmer.
In addition to his wife and parents, Doc is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Garold Farmer.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Praise Cathedral Church with a service beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jerry Madden will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Praise Cathedral Church.

I will always be indebted to Doc for teaching me how to do so many things . When I was a kid in high school and later in Gardner-Webb Jr College Doc allowed me to learn about cars in his Garage at 27 West Lee Road Taylors SC
It became Doc Wilson Speed Shop
Over time and was the home of many local Drag racers.
I got to work on vacation time from school and summer time as well as later after graduation from Georgia.
I was taught building engines carburetors and many other automotive techniques!
I regret never ever going back to express my gratitude for his kindness and generosity.
It was just a few weeks ago I learned of his passing.
When I get to Heaven I am sure to share this sad realization .
