Daniel G. Wolfer, age 51, of Newport, Kentucky and formerly of Franklin County, Indiana died Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky following a brief illness.

Born June 3, 1974 in Connersville, Indiana he was the son of Roger Lee & Patricia (McWhorter) Wolfer. He was employed at Brio Italian Grille in Newport.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Wolfer of West Harrison, Indiana; three sisters, Kim (David) Hess of Brookville, Indiana, Theresa (Joe) Nieberding of Dover, Indiana, Kelly (Leo) Medina of Brookville, Indiana; two brothers, Doug (Leigh Ann) Wolfer & David (Erica Rothenbusch) Wolfer all of West Harrison, Indiana; several nieces & nephews, as well as his work family at Brio in Newport.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Lee Wolfer who died January 19, 2008, as well as a brother, Jason Wolfer who died December 15, 1999.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at St. Joseph Cemetery in St. Leon, Indiana.
