Durham, NC – Daniel L. Yohe beloved husband, father and grandfather, 81, died peacefully at Duke University Hospital surrounded by family on July 22, 2022. He was born on December 26, 1940 to the late Lester and Ruth Yohe.
When Daniel wasn't at home in his woodworking shop, he enjoyed the time hunting, ?shing and gol?ng. He graduated from Wilton High School and he attended Accounting School at Bentley College. He proudly served in the US Army Reserve. He was a member of the Milford Lions Club and a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He was married to the love of his life Beverly for 57 years. He was employee for a time at Lorden Lumber then at the Milford Cooperative Bank before retiring to North Carolina to be closer to his grandchildren. Despite moving out of New England, he always remained and avid fan of the Boston teams especially the New England Patriots.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Beverly (Warren) Yohe, daughter Christine Dobens and son-in-law William Dobens of Merrimack NH and daughter Catherine Kass and son-in-law David Kass of Durham, NC, and 2 grandchildren, Cameron Kass and Caitlin Kass and his sister Linda Ameika of Beverly, MA and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life will be held at future date.
