Danielle M. Buchanan passed away August 15, 2023 surrounded by her beloved family and friends. Beloved daughter of Keith T. Buchanan and Virginia C. (Mike) Urso (nee Kowalewski).
Danielle is also survived by her loving sister, Renee (Mike) Koppe and brother, Michael Buchanan; an adoring granddaughter to Geraldine "Nani" Buchanan; a loving aunt to Greyson, Annabella, and Gianna; as well as Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many friends. She is also survived by her sweet fur baby, Mr. Tibbs.
Beloved by all who knew her, Danielle (Dani or Bones) possessed an incredible heart that radiated kindness and warmth. Her captivating smile could light up any room, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to be in her presence. A true embodiment of adventure, she fearlessly embraced life's challenges, from cliff jumping to skiing, and her passion for exploring took her all over the United States. Dani held her family close to her heart, cherishing the bonds that define her and remaining fiercely loyal to her cherished friends. Whether engaging in lively games, captivating trivia, or creative activities like painting, she had an uncanny knack for drawing others into her world. Her spirit will forever live on through the joy she brought to countless lives, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were privileged to know her.
Relatives and friends are invited to Danielle's viewing Sunday, August 20 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, Pa. Funeral mass at 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, Pa. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Rowan Breast Center at Penn Medicine, 3400 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104 - would be greatly appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear about Danielle. She's such a sweet girl. I'll always remember how little but tough she was. She would hold her own with the bigger kids in the neighborhood.
