Danielle Nichole Conklin, of
Felton, Delaware, passed away tragically on February 27, 2026. She was born on March 27, 1988 in
Dover, Delaware. She is the beloved daughter and the light of her parents' lives, Wayne and Dee Fields of Wyoming, Delaware.
Danielle attended schools in the Caesar Rodney School District from kindergarten through high school and graduated from Polytech High School in 2006 as a dental assistant. She began her professional career as an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Kidd. She later transitioned to Halpern Eye Care, but her passion for dental assisting led her back to the field, where she worked with Dr. Martin and Dr. Sydell.
Fourteen years ago, Danielle joined Dedicated to Women, starting at the front desk and working her way up to become a Surgical & OBGYN Coordinator, Manager & Patient Access Representative Manager. She truly loved her job, the patients she helped, and the staff and doctors she worked alongside. Her dedication and compassion made a lasting impact, and she found great fulfillment in the work she did every day.
On September 20, 2014, Danielle married her best friend and the love of her life, Alec Conklin. Together, they shared a love and friendship that most people only dream of. On that day, Danielle gained a second set of parents, Bill and Sheri Conklin of Camden, who loved her as their own.
Danielle's greatest joy in life was being a mother. She welcomed her first daughter, Addison Grace (10), and her second daughter, Haven Willow (7). Being their mom was her most important role, and she truly shined in it. Her girls were her entire world, and she went above and beyond every day to ensure they felt loved, protected, and cared for. Danielle had a true passion for baking and was incredibly talented at it. She loved bringing family and friends together and was happiest when hosting holidays, game nights, and dinners at her home. Creating those moments and keeping everyone close meant everything to her.
Though she wasn't always a sports fan, Danielle grew to love the Tennessee Volunteers and enjoyed watching games with family and friends. She was also a huge fan of Post Malone and was thrilled to see him in concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Alec. Danielle adored her niece and nephew, Savannah and Sawyer Morris, and loved them as if they were her own. Every moment with "Aunt DiDi" was filled with fun and laughter. Her smile, kindness, compassion, and laughter could light up any room. Danielle's love of life and the love she shared with others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Earl and Jeanette West, John and Iva Fields, Willa Mae and Lester Wright, and Betty and Thurley Murphy, and her beloved cousin Sheyenne Marshall.
She is survived by her loving parents, Wayne and Dee Fields of Wyoming; her loving husband, Alec Conklin of Felton; her cherished daughters, Addison Grace and Haven Willow; her loving parents Bill and Sheri Conklin, her grandparents, Ike and Nancy Fields and Billy and May Morris, all of Wyoming; her two brothers, Brandon Morris and Zach Fields of Wyoming, who were also her best friends; She was loved by her uncles: Shannon Morris, Eric Fields (Lori) and Andy Fields all of Wyoming. She was loved by North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia families who she enjoyed trips to visit them. She is survived by many great aunts, uncles, and many cousins, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
