CASTLETON - Danielle E. Hilton, 37, of Castleton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Albany Medical Center, after a long illness.
Born in Troy, N.Y., Danielle was the beloved daughter of Barbara A. and Robert R. Hilton. She was a graduate of Columbia High School.
Throughout her life, Danielle worked in various roles, as a waitress at Tom's Diner and as a clerk at Hess, Walmart, and Dunkin' Donuts. Known for her creativity and artistic spirit, Danielle had a deep love for writing poetry, painting, singing, and music. Danielle particularly loved Nickle Creek and Good Charlotte. She also enjoyed crafting, especially using duct tape, and drawing. Prior to her accident, she was active and adventurous, enjoying swimming, cycling, and hiking.
Danielle was predeceased by her brother, Robert D. Hilton; her grandmother, Mary Ann Hatch; and her grandfather, Ernest Bateman.
She is survived by her loving parents, Barbara A. and Robert R. Hilton; her brother, Joshua Hilton, and his fiancée, Karley Malark; and her cherished nieces, Madison Rose Marie Brown and Jolene Lee Hilton.
Danielle's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the East Nassau Cemetery, Garfield Rd., East Nassau.
