She was preceded in death by Joey Michael Wright.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Ann Cusick Melton; father, Gary Steven Melton; daughter, Stevie Allysha Melton; sons, Lucus Ray Wright and Tyson James Wright; companion of 10 years, Butch Baker (Hayden Baker, McKenzie Baker and Madison Baker); maternal grandmother, Rose Blandford Cusick; maternal grandfather, Herman Cusick Sr.; fraternal grandfather, Ray Melton; fraternal grandmother, Treva Bowling Melton; fraternal grandparents, Gail and Joe Wright; and brothers, Christopher Melton (Abby and Harrison Melton) and Jeffery Melton (Christy and Mason Laymance, Maddison Laymance, McKenzie Melton, Memphis Melton, Maci Melton, Gunner and Chase).
The family received friends on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 12-1:30 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. The funeral service began at 1:30 p.m. with Bro. James Griffith officiating. Internment followed in Clear Creek Cemetery in Lancing.
