Danielle Peterson, age 53 of Glenville, MN, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Danielle lived a life filled with love, kindness, and grace. She touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and goodwill. Her presence will be deeply missed by many.
Danielle Annette Peterson was born on December 25,1971 in Albert Lea, MN. She graduated from Glenville High School in 1990. Danielle worked as a home health worker for many years. Her strong work ethic and friendly demeanor made her a cherished colleague. Danielle was a determined and independent woman, known for her wit, great sense of humor, and strong will. She took joy in life's simple pleasures, especially in her love for work, music, and shopping. She loved people and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Above all, Danielle treasured spending time with her loved ones. Her strong commitment to her family and friends never wavered, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Peterson; two brothers, Troy and Monte Peterson; aunt, ElNora Stumo; uncle, Walter (Becky) Johnson; special cousin, Krista (Matt Williamson) Johnson; and many other family members and friends.
Danielle was proceeded in death by her son, Aden; grandparents, Ernest and Iola Johnson; uncles, Nelson Stumo and Lyle (Joanne) Johnson; and cousin, Rodney “Rocky” Stumo.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Bonnerup Funeral & Cremation Services, with Pastor Eileen Woyen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
