Jesse Boren, age 44, passed away on February 6, 2026.
Jesse was born 5 Jan 1982 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Douglas and Sharon Kenison. He grew up as a US Air Force dependent in North Carolina, Germany, Arizona and then Albert Lea. He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2000 and moved to Arizona. He moved back to Albert Lea in 2005.
He married Emily Helmsley and was the father to Ayden and Ethan. They were divorced in 2025. Jesse worked for Sun-Optra in Hope for ten years. He then joined Albert Lea Seed and worked right up to the end. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed outdoor cooking; along with working on and flying his hovercraft.
He is survived by grandmother, Darlene Kenison; parents, Douglas and Sharon Kenison; finance, Tessa Janes; sisters, Tia Kenison and Mandy (Kenison) Hanna; brother, James Kenison; sons, Ayden Boren and Ethan Boren. He will be missed by all including his 10 nieces/nephews and 7 great nieces/nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald Kenison, James and Elizabeth Boren.
A private memorial celebration of life will be held at a future date.
