Danielle K. Rozema age 45, of Waterford, died December 5, 2024
.Danielle K. Rozema, born August 31, 1979 in Cheboygan, Michigan was ushered into eternal peace and love by the Angels on December 5. Waiting at the doors of heaven were her dearly beloved Aunt Bonnie, and her favorite Uncle Bobby.
Danielle's life was a testament to the power of determination. Born with spina bifida, she faced many challenges in her 45 years. Her unwavering determination empowered her to overcome any obstacle in her way. "Where there is a will, there's a way." She was truly an inspiration to all that met her.
Danielle's radiant smile, unending love, and can-do attitude will be profoundly missed by her husband of 20 years, Mark, and her children, Sabra and Grant, as well as her Mother, Diana Minch, and Stepfather Bob Holman, and her Father and Stepmother, Dann and Sharon Minch, her Mother and Father in laws, John and Harriet Rozema, and their children Sue and Brad. Her sense of humor and sass will be missed by her sisters, Maria (Minch) Rasmussen, and Jaclynn (Minch) Kreiger, and her brother, Charlie Minch. She is also survived by her Grandma, Laura Doyle, who Danielle thought the world of. Her absence will also be deeply missed by her steadfast and lifelong best friend Tara Maltby, with whom she shared many adventures. Danielle's crowning achievement was Motherhood. The love she instilled in Sabra and Grant and their memories will carry her spirit on.
"My favorite things to do with my Mom were painting our nails, doing each other's hair, and going shopping together. We went to the Salvation Army together a lot. Her favorite nail polish color was Dutch Tulips by OPI, and when I was little we always matched. I loved it when she would do my nails, or braid my hair. She always played old Taylor Swift when she did my hair. My Mom loved to be outside and had many flowers in her rock garden that she was very proud of. My Mom loved sitting on our porch in the sun to look at the fountain on the lake we live by. My Mom liked taking Grant and I to Starbucks, and she really liked hot caramel macchiatos or French vanilla lattes. She was a very loving person, and you couldn't help but smile when you saw her. She was beautiful and never had chipped nail polish. She cared about her friends, family, and church very much." – Sabra
"My Mom used to sit outside everyday of the summer, soaking up the sun or doing some yard work. I would come outside and she would always immediately ask me to play Uno. I think we played it together at least a couple hundred times, it never really mattered who won or lost, just the quality time together. (She was better than me.) But, while recalling all of these memories, it never came to my head how much even 5 minutes of time together meant to my Mom. She lived life to the fullest and was always ready for something new. I think everyone could have something to learn from her, and if you asked her for help, she would help you. She was always willing and present for anything I needed and that's what made her the best Mom." -Grant
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 12 from 4-8 at Lynch & Sons, 5391 Highland Road, Waterford Township. Burial All Saints Cemetery

I am just finding this out, when we had lunch together & I visited her at the hospital. I am going to miss her! She was my sister in Christ & we were blockheads for New kids on the block & went to the concert together.

Danielle can into my classroom to help. I was blessed to teach Sabra and Grant in our multiage room. Danielle always smiled and helped everyone, with her positive vibe. I was blessed to know her.
