Danielle "Tootie" Schexnayder, born on October 21, 1987, in Marrero, Louisiana, passed away on June 9, 2025. A cherished individual, Danielle's presence illuminated the lives of those around her, leaving behind a remarkable legacy that will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and all whose paths crossed hers.

Survived by her spouse of 17 years Randy J. Theriot Jr. or in her words "Randall". Mother of her fur babies Sophie, Abbey, and Riley. Daughter of Julie Schexnayder and the late Harry "Butch" Schexnayder Jr. Daughter in-law of Faye Grabert and Randy Theriot Sr, Sister of Ashley Adams Cortez (Susan). Sister in-law of Brandy Miller and Ashley Gisclair. Grand Daughter of Betty Adams and the late Hubert "Popsie" Adams and the late Harry and Gladys Schexnayder. Granddaughter in-law to Lucy Gauthreaux and the late Harold Gauthreaux and Gladys and Ray Theriot. God daughter of Keith Adams and Robin Adams. God mother of Kolby Adams and Alexcia Rodriguez. Aunt to Ashlyn Gisclair, Averey Gisclair, and Kinsley Miller. Best friend to Kasie Knuppel (Brent). Niece of Kippy (Brenda), Keith (Beverly), Dawn (Jody), Marc, Phyllis (Kim), Harold Jr. (Colinda). Danielle was also survived and cherished by her tribe of cousins: Jamie, Samantha, Jessica, Drake, Crystal, Heather, Kirk, Willie, Angie, Nicole, Randy, Kyle, and Allen "Doobie". Admired by her younger cousins Kaleigh, Kody, Karleigh, Kyleigh, Edwin, Layla, and Reaghan. Co-worker to the staff of Lapalco Family Dental. Also survived by many other close family and friends that are considered family who will carry her memory forward.

Danielle was known for her warm smile that could light up a room and unyielding spirit. She approached life with a passion that inspired many and was a source of joy to those fortunate enough to know her. Throughout her lifetime, she built deep connections and shared in the joys and challenges of those she cared for, making her an invaluable part of her community.

Her family's love for her was immense, In recognition of her life and the impact she had on others, visitation is scheduled for June 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Marrero - Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC, located at 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072. This will be followed by a chapel service, which will begin at 1:30 PM. Immediately following services family and friends are invited to a gathering to honor and celebrate Danielle and her legacy at Mugshots 321 Laroussini St. Westwego, LA 70094 

As we gather to honor Danielle's life, we reflect on the love and kindness she exuded during her time with us. Her spirit will continue to inspire all those who were touched by her grace and compassion.
