Danielle Blake Strahan woke up with Jesus, family, and friends on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 36. She was born on Sunday, September 10, 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Michael Strahan and Pattie Smith Strahan. She was a resident of Albany, Louisiana.
Danielle is survived by her father, Michael Strahan; mother, Pattie Smith Strahan(Carl Cutrer); son, Brantley Tate Turner; brother, Michael Strahan; boyfriend, Clarence Hoyt(step-daughter, Madison Hoyt); grandparents, Myrtis Kitchens and Betty Smith; aunts and uncles, Beth Cutrer(Mike McMillion), Jeffery Strahan(Renee), Roy Strahan II(Robin), Chad Smith(Scarlett), Eric Simpson(Heather), and Joey Simpson(Cathy); cousins, Mark Allen Cutrer, Tanner Wayne Cutrer(Hannah), Miranda Strahan, Roy Strahan III(Christian), Rhett Strahan, Ally Smith, and Sammy Smith; and many more who loved her as family.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Mark Wayne Cutrer; grandparents, Roy Strahan, William Kitchens, and Wayman Smith; great-grandparents, Beatrice & Donald Davis, Doris & Ira Strother, Annie & Melvin Smith, and Estelle & Layton "Mutt" Strahan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM until the celebration of her life begins at 2:00 PM.
Interment will follow in New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.
