John Dwight Fore Jr.
John, age 74, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. John was a native of Homestead, Florida and a longtime resident of Walker, Louisiana. For over 40 years, John was the proud business owner of Fore's Maintenance, where he proudly served his community. John never met a stranger and had a talent for making people laugh. He enjoyed his time at the camp in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi with his family and friends in fellowship. John was always game for anything. He loved playing his guitar, going on fishing trips, and spending time in the woods hunting. John was a loving husband, uncle, and brother who will be forever missed.
Pallbearers will be Greg Fauchaux, Cody Fauchaux, Don Burell, Blake Stubbs, Kenny Paternostro, Carlo Paternostro as well as Honorary Pallbearers, Tim Degeneres, Johnny Martin, and Henry Lamonica.
John is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca "Becky" Fore; sister, Kathryn Blair Burell; brother, Delmar L. Fore; nephews, Raymond Laviolette, Blake Stubbs and wife, Michelle Oros, Isaiah Fore, Jordan Burell and Joshua Burell; nieces, Kathryn Grace Fore and Priscilla Anne Fore.
John is preceded by his father, John D. Fore Sr., mother, Kathryn W. Fore, sisters, Priscilla F. Guillot and Janet F. Matherne.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lela Mae Wilkes, Russell Wilkes, Brown-Eagle Corporation and Shana, RN with Pinnacle Hospice.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with visitation to resume the following day, Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at Gateway Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery.
