Augusta- Danielle Violette-Redmond, 35, of Augusta, Maine, passed away on July 31, 2025.

Danielle attended Cony High School, where she made many lasting friendships. She was extremely creative and loved writing and coloring. She fulfilled her dream of writing a book, becoming a published author in 2012. She had a passion for listening to music and loved playing video games. She found great joy in life's simple pleasures - hiking, camping, and gathering with friends and family around bonfires.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Andrew Redmond and their two children, Madilyn and Kody Redmond, who she loved beyond measure and was so very proud of; her mother, Sharon Violette Lane and her stepfather, Pat Lane, whom she affectionately called her "real dad"; her aunts Sheila Bosse, Linda Duby, and Monica Roberts; her cousins Brian Bosse, Jeff and Christel Bosse; her brother Richard Rioux and his wife Sam; her father David Violette, and stepmother Kristina Violette; and her mother-in-law Tina Ayers and her husband Nate; She is predeceased by her sister Amanda Violette.

A celebration of life will be held at American Legion post 2, 7 Legion Drive in Augusta on September 13th from 2pm to 5pm.
