Danilo Ruiz

 

Danilo Ruiz, 70, of Killeen, passed away on September 12, 2023, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 18 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home beginning at 5 pm. A visitation is to be held prior from 3-5 pm.

Danilo was born in the Dominican Republic on November 13, 1952. Danilo did not have an easy life both back home and here in the USA, but he never gave up and always kept pushing forward. He completed college with a degree in architecture. Danilo was a very caring and loving father and dedicated his entire life to his sons and daughter. He loved to play the guitar and loved sharing that passion by teaching his grandchildren how to play as well. He will be greatly missed by his children, friends, and extended family.

Danilo is preceded in death by his mother, Reina Ruiz.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Francis Ruiz, Samuel Ruiz, and David Ruiz; daughter, Gabriela Ruiz; and grandchildren, Francis Ruiz Jr., Melissa Ruiz-Luna, Mia Ruiz, Aurora Ruiz-Luna, Santiago Ruiz, Mateo Ruiz, Andres Ruiz, Ysabela Ruiz-Luna, and Davi Ruiz.
