Danna Hanna Obituary
She was born on May 16, 1982, in Salt Lake City to Denise and Danny Hanna. Danna was a talented, charismatic free-spirited soul, always smiling and willing to help anyone. She had bright energy, whose presence brought out the best among those around her. Danna was a life giver; she loved the holidays and family gatherings. Her daughter Destiny and her grandsons Haytham and Phoenix were the center of her universe and light of her life. She was loving and kind to all, everyone loved her. Her kindness and love will live on from all the lives she has touched. Her sense of humor-sharp, silly and wonderfully unexpected - kept everyone smiling, bursting in laughter, and young at heart. It was always a joy to be around Danna. She was a bright light in this world and our family that will be forever missed. Danna, we love you to the moon and stars and back.
She is survived by her daughter, Destiny Marie Hanna; grandsons Haytham and Phoenix; mother Denise Hanna (Gary Edwards); sister Patience Montoya; brothers Brian Lester and Zachary Lester (Karleen); nieces Jessica, Justyce and Hope; and nephews Kayden, Mason, and Walker. She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Hanna, sister Danielle Hanna and her Grandparents Edna and Gaylord Lester, Ana and Bill Hanna.
A celebration in her honor is expected to take place in spring on her birthday May 16, 2026. More details will follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to help assist Destiny and her boys. Venmo | Destiny Hanna
