Mr. Dannie Lee Rutledge age 69, of Royston, Ga passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 at his home. Born June 6, 1956 he was the son of the late George Washington Rutledge, Jr. and Lucille Smith Rutledge. He was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors. In addition to always being willing to lend a helping hand, he was a proud AA member where he attended regular meetings.
In addition to his wife Jean Clay Rutledge and parents Dannie is preceded in death by his daughter Samantha Rutledge. Brothers Harold Junior Rutledge and John Henry Rutledge.
Left to cherish his memory Dannie is survived by his daughter Amanda Lynn Rutledge. Siblings Katie Maxwell, Linda Price, Richard and Roy Rutledge.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm on Monday August 11, 2025 at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors& Crematory 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, Ga. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday August 12, 2025 from the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors& Crematory of Hartwell, Ga.
