Danny Allen, 81, Tina, Missouri passed away December 21, 2025 at Life Care Center of Carrollton. A visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at The Coloma Baptist Church, 15698 CR 225, Bogard, Missouri 64622. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM, and interment will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Mr. Allen was born August 29, 1944 in Carrollton, Missouri to Joe and Helen Allen. He attended school in Carrollton early in life, later attending Tina-Avalon school.
Danny met the love of his life, Virginia Staton while dining in a restaurant in Carrollton where she was waiting tables. Danny and an 'ornery' cousin would eat and play tricks on her, but she caught on quickly and soon a courtship ensued. Danny and Virginia were united in marriage on March 22, 1963 at Southside Baptist Church in Carrollton. They were blessed with two children, Donna and Davie.
Danny worked for Tyhurst Construction from 1964 to 1967, Arco Pipeline for 25 years where he started as a welder and worked his way to Corrosion Engineer, then following his retirement from The pipeline, he worked at Chillicothe Women's Prison from 1997 to 2000. In his off time he enjoyed taking Virginia dancing, camping and boating. They took trips to Sturgis, South Dakota with their motorcycles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing, playing cards, making homemade wine and woodworking. His greatest enjoyment came from being around family, especially his grandkids. Danny was a member of The Coloma Baptist Church, The Masonic Lodge and The Shriners.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Helen Allen, a daughter Donna Jo Allen, father and mother in law Earl and Bonnie Staton and a brother in law Kenneth Hedrick.
Danny leaves behind his wife of 62 years Virginia, his son Davie (Denise) Allen, a sister Rosalie Hedrick, grandchildren; Darcy (Mark) Hundley, Dylan (Kaylee) Allen, Delaney (Remington) Cox, Demi Allen and Dawson Allen, great-grandchildren; Maylee, Ellie, Boone, Buell and bonus great-grandchildren Kipton and Greta.
Memorial Contributions are asked to the Coloma Cemetery and Carroll County Animal shelter.
