Imogene L. Allen "Jean" 84, died peacefully in her home amongst her beloved family on December 20, 2025. Born February 27th, 1941 in Elmira, New York, she is predeceased by her loving husband, David Allen; parents Orville and Florence Swain; her brothers Lloyd Swain and Kenneth Swain. Survived by her daughters, Belinda (John) Colucci, Teresa (Jim) Jester, Cassandra (Jason) Benfante; grandchildren Andrea Nicklaw, Rebecca (Matthew) Tyma, Ellen (Caley) Gaziano, Nathan (Ellie) Jester, Benjamin Jester, Nicole (Nathan) Wilson, Lillian Benfante, Norah Benfante, and Margot Benfante; great-grandchildren, Vanessa Nicklaw, Clark Nicklaw, Maren Nicklaw, Gavin Tyma, Sawyer Tyma, Marley Tyma, and Alden Tyma; sister, Frances (Dave) Wagner; sisters-in-law, Brenda Swain, Jeanne (James) Mackenzie; several nieces and nephews.
Jean worked for the Webster Central School District for over 20 years and was highly revered by the faculty and students alike. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She was a constant source of love, wisdom and encouragement. Everything she did, she did with meticulous care and attention. She was the person you could count on, confide in and look to for help when needed. She would cheer louder than anyone, celebrating your victories with genuine enthusiasm. She embodied the true meaning of selflessness and unconditional love. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Friends may call to the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Road, Webster) on January 18th from 1pm-4pm. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park will be private.
