Danny Lee Bailey

Danny Lee Bailey, 84, of Rose, Oklahoma, passed away, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Northeastern Heath Systems in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was born August 28, 1941, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Frances Marion Bailey and Rutha Pauline Ward Bailey. Mr. Bailey married Barbara Jean Sagerty September 30, 1961, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Danny enjoyed building things, morning coffee visits, drag racing, football, and even had a stent where he enjoyed crocheting hats. Mr. Bailey was always sure to make his donation to the highway patrol. He also attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Teresita, Oklahoma. Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Bailey; his sisters, Judy Copeland and Donna Bailey; his brother, Dean Bailey; his parents, Frances Marion Bailey and Rutha Pauline Ward Bailey.

He is survived by his sons, Bill Bailey and wife Virginia of Teresita, Oklahoma, Keith Bailey of Teresita, Oklahoma, and Kevin Bailey and wife, Beth of Keys, Oklahoma; brother, Kenneth Bailey and wife, Charlotte of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kalyn Gardner of Peggs, Oklahoma, Quinton Bailey of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Diamond Bailey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Trevor Bailey of Keys, Oklahoma, Ashley Coats of Vinita, Oklahoma, Chance Bailey of Vinita, Oklahoma, Allison McCullin of Kansas City, Missouri, and Anna McCullin of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; as well as several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Teresita, Oklahoma. A funeral service is scheduled from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Teresita, Oklahoma with Pastor Paul Starkey officiating. A committal service will follow at Teresita Cemetery in Teresita, Oklahoma.
