Danny C. Barfield, 70 of Grand Ridge, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Danny was born in Dothan, Alabama on January 29, 1952, to the late Delmos Barfield and Ida Mae Lassiter Barfield. A graduate of Graceville High School, Class of 1970, Danny joined the U.S. Army National Guard. With Danny's wit and sense of humor made him one of the best salesmen in the Wiregrass area. Danny worked over the years with Liberty National Insurance Company, Panhandle Tractor Supply, Swearingen-Lord Equipment Company and Rahal-Miller Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, GMC. He enjoyed riding his tractor playing around in the dirt but most of all spending quality time with his family. Danny was a member of Inwood Baptist Church in Grand Ridge.
Preceded in death by his parents and one sister Jo Ann Barfield Smith.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Barfield, Grand Ridge, children Kimberly Barfield Edwards (Brent), Monticello, FL, Amy Nix (Brian), Cottondale, FL, Brian Vickery (Nikki), Panama City, FL, Justin Vickery, Tallahassee, FL, Candi Vickery, Marianna, FL, one brother Del Barfield (Barbara), Brooksville, FL,
ten grandchildren Brendon, Alyssa, Blake Paige, Claire, Reese, Brooks, Jaden, Joshua, Carver, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of His Life will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Damascus Baptist Church with Bro. Chad Roland, Bro. Steve Benefield and Bro. Bill Wright officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
Family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, 10 a.m. until time of service.
