Danny Barrientos

87, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of Catholic faith, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Born November 7, 1937, in Topeka to Daniel and Cirila (Castillo) Barrientos, Danny lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. Danny was blessed with a beautiful marriage of 67 years to his best friend, Cecilia (Vasquez) Barrientos, and together they raised three children: Becky (Matthew) Bye, JJ (Janelle) Barrientos, and Steve (Dana) Barrientos, all of Wichita. Danny was deeply proud of his grandchildren: Matthew Jr. (Keri) Bye, Bryan (Danielle) Bye, Kara (Kenny) Hallacy, Austin (Katie) Barrientos, Nolan (Jenny) Barrientos, Bryce

(Cassie) Barrientos, Aiden (Aidan) Barrientos, Grayce (Paul) Eck, Christian Barrientos, Andrew Bye, Nathan Barrientos, and Brandt Barrientos, and his 19

great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Danny worked over two decades at Boeing Aircraft as a respected CNC operator and was known for his strong work ethic and kind spirit. A devout Catholic, he lived his faith daily-serving others with compassion, humility, and love. Danny's interests were centered around his family, especially in the joy of spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each moment with them was treasured, and he imparted wisdom and love. Described by those who knew him as loving, kind, and faith-filled, Danny's influence extended beyond his family. He was a friend to many, offering a listening ear and a helping hand to anyone in need. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and his spirit will remain a comforting presence in the lives of all

who were blessed to know him. He is survived by siblings David (Vickie) Barrientos, Virginia Guillen, and Mary Moreno, and preceded in death by his brother John Barrientos and great- granddaughter Adelyn Bye.
