Danny Charles Blackburn

Danny Charles Blackburn, 72, of Munford, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 02, 2023. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Jeff Rutledge officiating. His family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Mr. Blackburn was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. He retired from Hale Building. He was also an avid University of Alabama fan who enjoyed hunting. Mr. Blackburn loved spending time with his buddy-his grandson, Daniel Putt. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dollie Luten and brother, Robert Berry. Mr. Blackburn is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Putt and Stacy Glass (Jay); son, Gene Blackburn (Liz); 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
