Danny Blackburn Obituary
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday January 27, 2024 at South Lexington Fire Department, 200 Cotton Grove Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
Danny was born in McDowell County, WV on December 22, 1973 to the late Paul Carter and Gloria Castevens. He was formerly employed with Balcoum Trucking Company.
Surviving are sons, Danny Blackburn and Robert Blackburn of Lexington, daughters, Haley Blackburn of Lexington and Chasity Atkinson of Salisbury, brother, Blaine Blackburn of Linwood, sister, Sandra Murray of Bluefield, WV, grandchildren, Cooper, Claire, Chloe Crotts, Carson and Disel Deal, Dale, Rose Wood, Avery, Leah Blackburn and Cassidy Robertson.

All the memories I have of you I will keep forever. Some of the best times of my life laughing and joking and acting silly together I don´t think I ever got the chance to say thank you and not sure if you ever knew this but you saved my life, when nobody else was there you were there as my friend no matter what and without that at that time in my life I don´t know where I´d be today. Im sure you´ve met up with my mother by now and you 2 are probably giving Jesus a hard time but I bet he´s laughing about it all. You will be missed T love always and forever.

We have so so many memories together he always made sure everyone was happy in every way he was a great man, brother, father,uncle an friend I love him so much an will miss him dearly I'm so sorry he is gone way to soon ......
